Thanksgiving

So the boys left yesterday for Wenatchee to stay for an entire week! I hope they have a great time and that they get enough snow to go sledding! I miss their little faces already :( Funny how that works, when we are all together it is too noisy, when the boys are gone it is too quiet. I would rather have noise.

Heather and I leave for the beach on Wednesday - we both are just weeks away from finals, so I am hoping we will actually have a bit of time to relax. I assume we will take movies and scrabble, but we will be working on papers and reading the whole time. I am looking forward to some time away from home, I need a little break!

Happy to report that we were done with our xmas shopping by the first week of November so we don't need to wander out into the craziness.

I am so thankful for our family, the recent approval of Ref. 71 and all of our friends. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!

i just wanted to say....

we are awesome sauce!!!!!!!!

...and we're off!

Today is the first day of the official Love Family blog! It has been a big day and it is just now 3 o'clock.

<--- This kid is the bomb!!

We had a great morning that began with cinnamon rolls hot from the oven, then we were off to rally! We arrived in downtown Bothell at 10am. Heather, Lenox and I found our way to the island in the middle of the intersection, where we stood for 2 hours with signs, encouraging folks to Approve Referendum 71. Such a great day! What an amazing opportunity to teach our youngest about equality. He was really excited to be holding his sign, and he even made up a little dance to do on the sidewalk that he while waving at cars. He really gets the idea: equality means, we don't have to believe the same things to be equal and that our nation is great because of that diversity. He was so happy when people honked and waved at him!

Now we are waiting for Logan to get home from a friend's house so we can have our family night - the boys are very excited about family night tonight because, they both did such an amazing job at school during the last week that their reward is not only getting to pick what we make for dinner, but what game we will play! Yay!
